Become culinary artists or chefs. The emphasis is on fine dining and artistic food preparation. Be prepared to become chefs in major restaurants or dining rooms and may continue to develop a regional or national/international reputation. Experiences may include working with chefs, hosting international/ethnic dinners and luncheons for the public, and participating in a variety of seminars and work experiences. Subject matter includes wine selection and tasting, baking/pastry, and formal meal service/dining room management.
